Symbolic Adoptions
At Little Tree Huggers, we care deeply for the environment and all living creatures. As a result, we have been rescuing animals since 2015 and, if you would like to collaborate, we have created this page for you to symbolically adopt one of our rescue ponies, alpacas, goats, pigs, lambs, ducks, turkeys, or chickens!
We have three Symbolic Adoption Levels:
1. Family Adoption ($50) - at this level you, your family or a special someone will receive a Certificate of Adoption in your family's name as well as a photo of your adopted animal friend(s).
2. Community Adoption ($100) - at this level you, your family or a special someone will receive a Certificate of Adoption in your family's name, a photo of your adopted animal friend(s), and a 30 minute visit to LTH to feed and have additional photos taken with your adopted animal friend(s).
3. Platinum Adoption ($200) - at this level you, your family or a special someone will receive a Certificate of Adoption in your family's name, a photo of your adopted animal friend(s), and a one night stay (Monday - Thursday night 5pm - 10am for up to four guests at LTH). During your sleepover, you are welcome to visit with, feed, and get to know your adopted animal friend(s).
Symbolically Adopting one or a group of our animal friends is easy and makes a great Holiday Gift! Just make a one time donation to GoFundMe, the PayPal Giving Fund, or Contact Us Directly to set up an automatic payment to our non-profit bank account. Just provide the name in which you are making your Symbolic Adoption, an e-mail address, phone number and mailing address in conjunction with your donation!
Our Rescue Animals:
Amelio & Paco
Amelio and Paco are brother Suri Alpacas and they were among our first rescues back in 2015! They are very curious, loving, and always willing to accept a snack!
Louie & Penelope
Louie and Penelope are brother and sister Hampshire piggies. We rescued them in 2021 and they have grown up here at LTH.
Teeny & Tony
Teeny and Tony were our first rescue animals, adopted back in 2015! Our neighbor Mr. Rick was getting ready to move and he needed a loving home for his faithful steeds. Teeny and Tony are incredibly gentle and they regularly interact with our students!
Our Flock of Hens

Our Goats - Lyra & Pela
Lyra & Pela are among our oldest rescue animals, adopted back in 2016 and inspiring numerous classes to engage in mischief whenever possible!
Our Lambs
Glen, Flora, Tika & Andrés are our bottle lambs. They were all abandoned by their mommies and our Little Tree Huggers fed and nurtured them until they were full grown!
